We are pleased to announce that our colleague, Master of Laws Veronika Cukrov, recently attended the President of the Republic of Slovenia, dr. Nataše Pirc Musar’s “President’s Forum” on establishing a sustainable food system.
Veronika Cukrov, who is also a member of the Strategic Council of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Food, was deeply engaged in the discussion about the necessity of establishing sustainable food systems in Slovenia, which was particularly highlighted by the President’s Forum.
In addressing the issue of sustainable food systems, it is crucial to listen to the voice of the agricultural sector, while not overlooking the important environmental, climate, ethical and health aspects. The President’s Forum offered an excellent opportunity for active participation in the search for solutions and the formulation of concrete proposals for decision-makers.
