During her studies, Maja Papež was an active member of the association »ELSA Ljubljana«. She is currently a tutor of Civil law and was (in the second and third year) a tutor for Roman law. In march 2019 she traveled to New York, where she learned more about the Common Law legal system, visited the New York University School of Law and had the opportunity to listen to lectures by prominent judges and lawyers. In order to gain additional experience in the field of international law and in organizing conferences, she helped to organize an international conference “Best practices in European Family and Succession Law”, which took place in December 2019 at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana. In 2020, she published an article under the mentorship of prof. dr. Franjo Štiblar in the professional publication The regulation of the European Union for non-EU member states, citizens, and companies, titled Renewable and non-renewable energy resources in the EU regulation.
